We aim to support each other to reach our creative potential, and to make music and sing together because it makes us feel good. Group singing and music making can, and does, change lives – the social, physical and emotional benefits are substantial.
Based in Tamfourhill Community Centre, Falkirk, we currently meet most Wednesday afternoons to sing together (masked and socially distanced). Each rehearsal session starts at 2.30 pm and includes physical and vocal warm ups, a bit of drumming, learning new repertoire, singing through old favourites and outdoor breaks to socialise while we ventilate the hall!
Pre-pandemic, we also enjoyed regular performances in a range of settings – from care homes and community celebrations to ticketed concerts. These days, we’re getting creative with our outdoor performances for care homes, hospitals and the local community!
Sessions are led by our Music Directors, Mariot Dallas and Kim Edgar.
